Khashayar Mohammadi and Klara du Plessis

42 x 81 series premiere, poets Khashayar Mohammadi and Klara du Plessis blend their practices into a textual and sonic soundscape. Addressing the new series's water-oriented ethos, Khashayar writes: Once, having four extra hours to spare in Windsor, I went for a walk along the Detroit river admiring the sculpture garden, where, staring into the calm waters, gently floating in freezing temperatures, I retrieved my childhood. Klara writes: I wrote an entire manuscript in Afrikaans about water which will remain unpublished, residing at the roots, nourishing, transforming, flowing, or drying up in the face of future words.
