Michelle Wilson x Reilly Knowles

In this edition our collaborators created a piece of textile art centered around the landscapes of Antler River. In presenting this piece the artists foster a conversation about the connection in caring for land and for our material possessions such as clothes. Participants were encouraged to bring a sewing, knitting, mending or other textile project to work on while discussing sustainability in production, care for material and natural processes of making, dyeing and mending.

This was presented in person on April 6th 2022. The conversation could not be captured here but we encourage you to explore the work of these two local artists in various shows and discussions in town.
